This is very interesting to me. In the adult animation BoJack Horseman, the title character is a famous 90's star and is supposed to be writing a memoir. When he fails to meet deadlines over and over again he's paired with Dianne Nguyen to ghostwrites his memoir. You see how hard Dianne has to work to get information from BoJack who wants to be presented as an idealized version of himself (even though he sucks lol). It does sound like tough work. I'm curious to know how one becomes a ghostwriter. If you could interview an agent about that (or a ghostwriter!) that would be very cool. :)
I like that idea, Fay. I mean, I'm a ghostwriter myself, but maybe I'll find one more ghostwriter and have a convo that we put out as a audio post. And yeah, ghostwriting is tough, but the payoff is usually worth it!
It definitely takes some imagination. But I'd say it takes a lot of patience trying to get it right. You're not writing to please yourself. The client, whose story you're telling, is usually extremely picky about how you communicate their story. You need a bit of people management skills too LOL

I can imagine ghostwriting a book, but only because I'm an author with a good imagination.
;)

I agree with @Robin Christine - I'd gladly ghostwrite, and please also let me know if/when anything pops up.
Oh we got some future ghostwriters here. Didn't know you'd all be up for it.
It's a fun job! You should definitely give it a try.
Hahaha I will let you know if anything pops up. Stay tuned.
