What’s your vibe right now? Are you excited about the future of the writing industry? Are you a bit skeptical? Maybe you think that AI is going to take over the world and you’ll never get paid to write again.

Any of those reactions is totally valid. It feels like we’re speeding towards the other side of something but can’t see far enough ahead to know if we’ll clear the jump or crash and burn.

While I don’t think the latter is where we’re headed, I do believe that things are changing. And how we earn a living as writers today won’t be the same way we earn in the very near future.
